THE INNER GUIDE.

Image
(Following The Leading Of The Holy Spirit). JOHN 16:13 Webster's Bible Translation. But, when he, the Spirit of truth is come, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL THE TRUTH... whatever he shall hear, that will he speak: AND HE WILL SHOW YOU THINGS TO COME. Everyone who is born again or born of God, has an indwelling guide. The Anointing within, the Spirit of truth, the third Person of the Blessed Trinity. There are three major dispensations in the Bible - the dispensation of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each of these divine personalities played a unique and vital role in the work of man's redemption. The Father hatched-up the plan of man's redemption. The Son  executed the plan through His death, burial and resurrection, while the Holy Spirit came to enforce the divine plan within every believer via His permanent residency, thus working in us   "...both to will and to do of his good pleasure"  (Phil. 2:13). Jesus said, "But, when he, the Spirit of truth is...

THE PROTECTIVE POWER OF GOD.

Living In The Secret Place Of The Most High    (Psalm 91:1 - 16). PSALMS 9:1,2, NKJV 1. HE WHO DWELLS IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2. I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; MY GOD, IN HIM I WILL TRUST. Psalm 91 is a revelation of God's protective power, and His ability to keep the believer from all evil. It is God's covenant of divine protection, and it covers every danger - sickness, disease, assault, crime etc. Once a person is born again or comes into Christ, all New Testament covenant rights and privileges purchased for us at redemption, and promises such as Psalm 91 become a divine protection insurance policy for us. "The secret place of the Most High" is not a "Physical Place" or "Location." It's a spiritual State of being; it's a place of intimacy with God which only few have found and occupied. "Shadow" here means shade. The shade of the Almight...

GOD'S FIRM FOUNDATION.

Image
2 TIMOTHY 2:19 NHEB However GOD'S FIRM FOUNDATION STANDS, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are His, and let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness. A foundation is the supporting structure of a building; it's the base of a building. God's firm foundation is His Word. It has been proved or tested, and it has never been found wanting. His Word is trustworthy, reliable and dependable. God and His Word are one; they are inseparable. He does nothing apart from His Word, thus He "... has magnified His Word above all His name (Ps. 138:2). Down through the ages; from the beginning of creation to the present period, the Eternal God has wrought great and mighty works through the instrumentality of His Word. He made the visible out of the invisible; He spoke the universe into existence, and created all things by the Word of His power!   "For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast" (Ps. 33:9). Under the Old Cove...

FAITH CONFESSIONS.

Image
ROMANS 10:9,10 9. That if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION (Healing, Health, Deliverance, Safety etc). COLOSSIANS 2:6 As have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. We "received Christ Jesus the Lord" by way of declaring, or confessing Him as Lord over our lives, and we were also required to "Walk in Him" or live dependent on Him by the same way. It's the Kingdom way of life! To confess means "to say the same thing," or "to agree with God in your testimony." Faith confessions always have a good report and a good testimony. Confession brings possession - what you say is what you get. Your words can either bring you defeat or victory; it can either bring you down or put you over in life. Faith confessi...

KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST.

Image
EPHESIANS 1:17 NET I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your GROWING KNOWLEDGE OF HIM. The greatest need of the Church today is the Revelation-Knowledge of "WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST." Knowing who you are in Christ is the catalyst for spiritual growth and stability. By virtue of the New Birth, the believer has become as Christ was in His earth walk. He became as we were to the end that we might become as He was, and now is. '...Just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world" (1Jn. 4:17). The sharp contrast between mere religion and Biblical Christianity is understanding who you are in Christ according to God's Word. Growing in the knowledge and understanding of who we are in Christ is so dear to God's heart than the myriads of dispensable religious programmes being flaunted time after time just so to mantain the status quo. "For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the KNOWLEDGE ...

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND RELIGION.

Image
1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 NET God is faithful, by whom YOU WERE CALLED INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. Christianity could rightly be defined as   "the outward expression of the life of Christ, the Risen Lord who lives within the believer." Christianity means "Christlikeness." Christ is a person, and not a religion. Christianity is a "call into fellowship or friendly relationship with Christ the Living Saviour." Many people think that going to church  occasionally or simply believing in God makes them a Christian. But the Bible presents a different perspective and definition of a Christian. Christianity is a personal relationship  with Jesus Christ! It is not rituals, ceremonies, or sacraments. It is a personal, spiritual, loving relationship with a real loving Saviour, Jesus Christ. What makes you a Christian is not baptism, confirmation, or any other form of religious rites. What makes you a Christian is "...CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glo...

THE EFFECTS OF YOUR WORDS.

PROVERBS 18:21 DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. We are standing at the threshold of the year 2023. Getting ready for a new beginnings and looking forward for a bright and happier future. The New year is like a blank book. Imagine that there is a pen in your hands. So it's time to write a beautiful story for yourself, your family and the Nation at large. The Psalmist said that, "...My tongue is the pen of a ready writer" (Ps. 45:1). So it's up to you to either write a beautiful or an ugly story of your life in 2023, with your tongue or the words of your mouth. You can actually shape your destiny with the words of your mouth!  We live in times of uncertainty due to the recent happenings around the world - ranging from economic decline to terrorism, kidnapping etc. Fear seems to be the dominant factor in our national life today, especially now that the electioneering season is here with us. And it is appare...
