THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND RELIGION.
1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 NET
God is faithful, by whom YOU WERE CALLED INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
Christianity could rightly be defined as "the outward expression of the life of Christ, the Risen Lord who lives within the believer." Christianity means "Christlikeness."
Christ is a person, and not a religion. Christianity is a "call into fellowship or friendly relationship with Christ the Living Saviour."
Many people think that going to church occasionally or simply believing in God makes them a Christian. But the Bible presents a different perspective and definition of a Christian.
Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! It is not rituals, ceremonies, or sacraments. It is a personal, spiritual, loving relationship with a real loving Saviour, Jesus Christ.
What makes you a Christian is not baptism, confirmation, or any other form of religious rites. What makes you a Christian is "...CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory" (Col. 1:27); "IN HIM WAS LIFE; and the life was the light of men" (Jn. 1:4).
There is no life in religion; it's mainly about strict adherence to some dead rituals, and fleshly exhibitions. While the Christian is motivated by love in their service to God, religious practitioners struggles to please God out of duty. They try so hard to impress other people with false piety, by putting on a show in the flesh.
Religion is not of the spirit; it's of the flesh. "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God" (Rom. 8:8).
Christianity is of the heart (the spirit).
Romans 2:28,29 Web
28. For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;
29. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
Hiding under the guise of the under-mentioned religious activities doesn't make you a Christian if you have not personally accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
CHRISTIANITY IS A CALL INTO FELLOWSHIP OR FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST THE LIVING SAVIOUR.

Remember Cornelius! (Acts 10:1-48).
Good works in themselves cannot take you to heaven.
You must be born again! "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (Jn. 3:3).
We don't live right to be saved, we live right because we are saved!
Good works are meant to follow after salvation (Heb. 6:9).
๐ Salvation Is Not Attainable; It Is Obtainable. It's A Gift From God "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast (Rom. 2:8,9).
