KNOWING WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST.

EPHESIANS 1:17 NET

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your GROWING KNOWLEDGE OF HIM.

The greatest need of the Church today is the Revelation-Knowledge of "WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST."

Knowing who you are in Christ is the catalyst for spiritual growth and stability.

By virtue of the New Birth, the believer has become as Christ was in His earth walk. He became as we were to the end that we might become as He was, and now is.

'...Just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world" (1Jn. 4:17).

The sharp contrast between mere religion and Biblical Christianity is understanding who you are in Christ according to God's Word.

Growing in the knowledge and understanding of who we are in Christ is so dear to God's heart than the myriads of dispensable religious programmes being flaunted time after time just so to mantain the status quo.

"For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD more than burnt offerings."

We live in a time when so many church folks have no Biblical knowledge of who they are in Christ. This explains the reason why majority of them are weak, fearful and disillusioned.

Others have become susceptible to demonic manipulations and all manner of deceptions in the process of running from pillar to post helplessly looking for a way out of their seeming predicaments. 

"...But the people who HAVE KNOWLEDGE of their God will be strong and do well" (Dan. 11:32 BBE).

The devil is not intimidated by the size of your big Bible; he doesn't care about how many times you go to church so long you don't have a personal conviction in God's Word about "who you are in Christ" - the Word have not become  reality to you!

THE SHARP CONTRAST BETWEEN MERE RELIGION AND BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY IS UNDERSTANDING WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST.

When "You know who you are in Christ," according to God's Word, and constantly  make a bold confession or declaration to that effect, the devil will run from you in terror!

"And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY..." (Rev. 12:11).

You may be feeling lika a failure or holding a negative perception about yourself simply because of a contradictory circumstance or due to some ill-treatment doled out on you by other people. But your Heavenly Father sees you differently. He sees you in Christ!

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATION. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Cor. 5:17 WEB).

God sees you in Christ, and not outside of Him. Dad Hagin once said, "We look a whole lot better in Christ than we do outside of Him."

E.W. Kenyon also said, "Our greatest difficulty has been that we forget what we are in Christ. We remember what we have been. We remember our failures, our weaknesses, and our lack, but we forget that the New Creation is the end of failure because God has imparted Himself to us."

The New Creation is "God's Masterpiece;" Excellently and Magnificently created in Christ Jesus.

In the mind of God, the believer is neither a destitute nor is he deficient in anything. He is complete in Christ! 

And ye are complete in Christ..." (Col. 2:10).

You are everything that the Word says you are in Christ regardless of man's opinion.

"...Let God be true, but every man a liar..." (Rom. 3:4).

What you see and how you feel doesn't  stop who you are in Christ!
