THE PROTECTIVE POWER OF GOD.
Living In The Secret Place Of The Most High (Psalm 91:1 - 16).
God will do what you believe Him to do in your life according to His Word, and His Word will work in your life, but only to the extent that you believe and speak it!

PSALMS 9:1,2, NKJV
1. HE WHO DWELLS IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; MY GOD, IN HIM I WILL TRUST.
Psalm 91 is a revelation of God's protective power, and His ability to keep the believer from all evil. It is God's covenant of divine protection, and it covers every danger - sickness, disease, assault, crime etc.
Once a person is born again or comes into Christ, all New Testament covenant rights and privileges purchased for us at redemption, and promises such as Psalm 91 become a divine protection insurance policy for us.
"The secret place of the Most High" is not a "Physical Place" or "Location." It's a spiritual State of being; it's a place of intimacy with God which only few have found and occupied.
"Shadow" here means shade. The shade of the Almighty. Almighty in Hebrew, is rendered as El-Shaddai - The All sufficient God, The God who is more than enough, The God who satisfies with long life, and The breasty One - indicating that His supplies never runs dry. They are always available, and inexhaustible, and He wants to be your ultimate source!
Dad Hagin of blessed memory once said, "Fellowship with God is the mother of faith." The secret place of the Most High is the place of fellowship with God. It's a place where outstanding faith in God is birthed! Little wonder the fellow in Psalm 91 could make such a bold declaration or assertion: "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust"
Faith speaks. What does it speak? It confidently speaks the Words that God has said. When you speak God's Words, it is a demonstration of your faith, and being in agreement with His Word. This is made clear in 2 Corinthians 4:13 (CEV):
"In the Scriptures it says, I spoke because I had faith. We have this same kind of faith. So we speak"
DIVINE PROTECTION IS NOT A PRIVILEGE OF A SELECT-FEW, BUT THE REDEMPTIVE RIGHT OF EVERY BELIEVER IN CHRIST.
God will do what you believe Him to do in your life according to His Word, and His Word will work in your life, but only to the extent that you believe and speak it!
The Words "My refuge", and "My fortress" reveals God Himself as our hiding place and stronghold where we live permanently for safety and protection.
... "Your life is hid with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3).
The Words "... My God in Him I will trust" indicates the fact that your own faith is a major requirement here, and not someone else's faith, if you must know the blessedness packaged in the the "Secret place of the Most High" experimentally.
There are wonderful promises attached to this "Secret place of the Most High." The whole of Psalm 91 is a series of promises of deliverance from, and then protection from diseases, disasters, accidents and calamities.
Psalm 91:10 (NKJV) No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plaque come near your dwelling;
"No evil" means "no evil!" No accident, no disaster and no calamity.
"No plaque" means "no plaque!" No sickness, no infectious disease etc.
The curses of the law listed in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 can be summarised into 4 main categories:
1. Sicknesses and diseases
2. Accidents, Calamities and disasters
3. Poverty
4. Spiritual death
Galatians 3:13 (NKJV) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree").
If Christ has truly redeemed us from the curse of the law (and He has!), then we are also redeemed from accidents, calamities and disasters.
Divine protection is not a privilege of a select-few, but the redemptive right of everyone who is in Christ Jesus!
