THE SPIRIT OF FAITH.

Image
2 CORINTHIANS 4:13 We having the same SPIRIT OF FAITH, according as it is written, I BELIEVED, AND THEREFORE HAVE I SPOKEN; WE ALSO BELIEVE, AND THEREFORE SPEAK. The principles of faith are taught, but THE SPIRIT OF FAITH is caught. The spirit of faith is a pioneering spirit. It is adventurous, bold, sturdy, tough, unrelenting, undaunted and unperturbed by the circumstances. During Paul's tempestuous long sea voyage to Rome, he said: "For many days, we could not see the sun or the stars. The strong wind continued to blow. So then we thought, it is possible to remain alive" (Acts 27:20 EasyEnglish). But then, Paul turned around and also said: "But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because you will not experience any loss of life, but only of the ship...So take courage, men, for I believe God that it will happen just as He told me (Acts 27:22,25 BSB). Paul had the spirit of faith! The journey was so tough and rough, but they finally got to a safe harbor. There w...

THE SPIRIT OF FAITH

Image
"We having the same SPIRIT OF FAITH, according as it is written, I believe, and therefore have I spoken; WE ALSO BELIEVE, AND THEREFORE SPEAK" (2 Corinthians 4:13). The principles of faith are taught, but the spirit of faith is caught. The spirit of faith is a pioneering spirit. It is adventurous, bold, sturdy, tough, unrelenting, undaunted and unperturbed by the circumstances. It's calm, cool and collected in the midst of the most tumultuous situation; it's persevering in nature. The spirit of faith dares the impossible. It steps out over the aching void with nothing underneath, but God's Word alone. The spirit of faith is not boastful, arrogant, proud and mean. It's quiet, meek, lowly and loving, "...faith worketh by love (Gal. 5:6), and yet it's a Dynamo that is capable of blasting off the most gigantic mountain! Faith laughs in the midst of the storm; it sings for joy in the midst of tests and trials and it shouts the victory even when the chips a...

NO MORE BONDAGE!

Image
JOHN 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, YE SHALL BE FREE INDEED. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be really free!"  (Jn. 8:36 ISV) Dynamic and powerful Words! Aren't they? But are they reliable? Certainly! These are neither the words of a beer guzzler nor a day dreamer. These Words are authentic because of the source - where they emanated from; I mean the Personality or Reputation of the speaker. He is the One whose Words can never fall to the ground. "For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast" (Ps. 33:9). He spoke the universe into existence by the Word of His power. His Words pierced through the darkness of the grave, and reverberated across the region of hell; shaking it to its very foundation to release Lazarus from the clutches of death, who was held bound by it for good four days. When He declared: "... Lazarus, come forth!" (Jn. 11:43), the power of the grave was broken immediately, and death had no choice ...

BEHOLD, HE COMES!

Image
Revelation 1:7 WEB Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him... Matthew 24:27BSB For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:44 BSB For this reason, you also must be ready, be because THE SON OF MAN WILL COME AT AN HOUR YOU DO NOT EXPECT. The times that we live in calls for watchfulness and soberness on the part of the Saints. It is apparent or obvious that the end of all things has come upon us! Most of the Biblical prophecies concerning the end time have already been fulfilled. A phenomenal occurrence will soon hit the known universe, disrupting the milky way galaxy, and grinding all human activities to a halt! And then shall the Lord Jesus Christ appear "... In the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matt. 24:30). The Lord is coming for His Church: "... A glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any of such thing; but...holy and without blemis...

KNOWING THE REALITY OF YOUR REDEMPTION.

(Redeemed From The Curse - Delivered From The Power Of Darkness!) GALATIANS  3:13 CSB CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE of the law by by becoming a curse for us, because it is written, curse is everyone who is hung on a tree. COLOSSIANS 1:13 NET HE DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS and transferred us to the Kingdom of the Son he loves. The word "redeem" conveys the idea of being bought from the slave market. It also implies being saved from sin and its attendant consequences. In Christ Jesus, every believer has been bought from the slave market of spiritual bondage to the devil so to speak. Through His death, burial and resurrection, Jesus Christ conquered the power of sin, Satan and the grave! "And set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their by fear of death" ( Heb. 2:15). The Bible is God speaking to us today. And its a matter of utmost importance that we pay an undivided attention to what the Bible has to say, especially about the redem...

THE CALL TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY.

Image
EPHESIANS 4:13-15 BSB. 13. Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, AS WE MATURE TO THE FULL MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF CHRIST. 14. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming. 15. Instead, speaking the truth in love, WE WILL IN ALL THINGS GROW UP INTO CHRIST HIMSELF, who is the head. HEBREWS 6:1 ESV. Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ AND GO ON TO MATURITY... God wants all of us to grow. Maturity is one of His purposes for our lives. In fact, Hebrews 6:1 tells us, "LET'S PRESS ON TO MATURITY" (CEB). God intends for us to always pursue spiritual growth so that we may "Be conformed to the image of His Son" (Rom. 8:29 ESV). Spiritual infancy is a lack of growth after the New Birth.  Maturity doesn't just mean knowing more doctrine. It doesn't just mean you don't argue with y...

THE GREATEST GIFT! ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

1 JOHN 5:11,12 ISV. 11. This is the testimony: GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE IS FOUND IN HIS SON. 12. THE PERSON WHO HAS THE SON HAS HAS THIS LIFE. THE PERSON WHO DOES HAVE THE SON OF GOD DOES NOT HAVE THIS LIFE. It's Christmas again! That time of the year when millions of people around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with dining and winning, visits, gift-exchange, festive parties etc. These aspects of the season are fun and should be enjoyed, but it is so easy to get swept away in the excitement or the whole rigamarole of Christmas celebrations, and lose track of the spirit and essence of what this season is all about - JESUS CHRIST! HE IS THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON. Jesus may not have been actually born on Christmas day but it doesn't really matter. What matters is that a Saviour has been born "To Save His People From Their Sin (Matt. 1:21). He was born to give Eternal Life to those who will receive Him (Jn. 1:21). Eternal Life is the God...
