So it's time to write a beautiful story for yourself, your family and the Nation at large. The Psalmist said that, "...My tongue is the pen of a ready writer" (Ps. 45:1). So it's up to you to either write a beautiful or an ugly story of your life in 2023, with your tongue or the words of your mouth. What is redeeming the time? The word means to make the most of, or to use time wisely. It also has the idea of urgency. If you are not careful with how you spend your time, you could get swept up and carried away with this evil. The Church is an extension of God's Kingdom here on planet earth. Hebrews 5:1,4 NET 1. For every high priest is taken from among the people and appointed to represent them before God... 4. Don't go into the ministry because your friends or relatives encouraged you to do so. Don't go into the ministry as a last resort just because you felt there is no hope elsewhere. There is a divine call to the ministry: " And no one assumes this honor on his own initiative, but only when called to it by God... (Heb. 5:4). You must first ascertain whether or not the call of God is on your life. It is disastrous to venture into the work of the ministry without a calling from God. If you are called of God, you won't need anyone to tell you or prophesy to you. Ephesians 6:13,14 13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND. 14. STAND therefore... The courage to stand firmly on the promises of God without wavering till your answer comes is the real test of faith. The devil isn't moved about how much religion you profess, so long this vital spiritual ingredient is missing in your life. Thank God for the place of prayer in a Christian's life, but at times, there could be a little delay to your answer or expectation from God. What are you going to do in a moment like this? 1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, IT PLEASED GOD BY THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE. Romans 4:19,20 19. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body... 20.   He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was srong in faith, giving Glory to God. The Bible says that Abraham was  "strong in faith." He "gave Glory to God" in the midst of a prevailing negative situation when there was no reason for him to do so. It was at a time when all hope was lost, and there seems to be no end in sight to the prolong state of barrenness that himself and Sarah were engulfed in. Abraham grew strong in faith because he is highly developed in the art of "giving God Glory" or praising Him in the amidst of life's toughest challenges. It was a habit that he developed overtime.
