GOD'S FIRM FOUNDATION.

2 TIMOTHY 2:19 NHEB However GOD'S FIRM FOUNDATION STANDS, having this seal, The Lord knows those who are His, and let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness. A foundation is the supporting structure of a building; it's the base of a building. God's firm foundation is His Word. It has been proved or tested, and it has never been found wanting. His Word is trustworthy, reliable and dependable. God and His Word are one; they are inseparable. He does nothing apart from His Word, thus He "... has magnified His Word above all His name (Ps. 138:2). Down through the ages; from the beginning of creation to the present period, the Eternal God has wrought great and mighty works through the instrumentality of His Word. He made the visible out of the invisible; He spoke the universe into existence, and created all things by the Word of His power!   "For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast" (Ps. 33:9). ROMANS 10:9,10 9. That if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION (Healing, Health, Deliverance, Safety etc). COLOSSIANS 2:6 As have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. We "received Christ Jesus the Lord" by way of declaring, or confessing Him as Lord over our lives, and we were also required to "Walk in Him" or live dependent on Him by the same way. It's the Kingdom way of life! To confess means "to say the same thing," or "to agree with God in your testimony." Faith confessions always have a good report and a good testimony.
