𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃

"Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) ( Hebrews 10:23) The word profession in this verse of scripture also means confession. We are told to hold fast or hold firmly, the confession of our faith in God our Heavenly Father without wavering or without being swayed unsteadily to and fro by the winds of adversity. To confess means "to say the same thing," or "to admit." Confessing God's Word is admitting that God's Word is true regardless of contradictory circumstances. Confessing God's Word on a regular basis is not an alternative, but an ultimatum if you must continue in faith. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but that shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success" (Joshua 1:8).
