CONFIDENCE IN KNOWING THE LORD.

DANIEL  11:32  ᵂᵒʳˡᵈ ᴱⁿᵍˡⁱˢʰ ᴮⁱᵇˡᵉ

𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴; 𝘉𝘜𝘛 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘗𝘌𝘖𝘗𝘓𝘌 𝘞𝘏𝘖 𝘒𝘕𝘖𝘞 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘐𝘙 𝘎𝘖𝘋 𝘞𝘐𝘓𝘓 𝘉𝘌 𝘚𝘛𝘙𝘖𝘕𝘎 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘛𝘈𝘒𝘌 𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕

"...𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑺𝑬 𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑲𝑵𝑶𝑾 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑫 𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑴𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑳𝒀, 𝑺𝑯𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑩𝑬 𝑺𝑶 𝑭𝑼𝑳𝑳 𝑶𝑭 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑭𝑰𝑫𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬 𝑰𝑵 𝑯𝑰𝑴. 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑬𝒀 𝑺𝑯𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑨𝑪𝑻 𝑽𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑨𝑵𝑻𝑳𝒀!

From the scriptural standpoint, the recent global phenomena are clear indications that the end of time is near.

Large scale deception is on the rise at an alarming rate, and so are the activities of religious gamblers.

The unsuspecting Church folks have become easy targets of satanic manipulation today. This is due to the fact that there has being a downplay on the core values that made Christianity what it is.

Jesus said, "... upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matt. 16:18b).

The Church or the believers, are suppose to build their lives on the solid Rock of God's Word so that the gates of hell (Satan and his cohorts), will not prevail against them.

Man has substituted the original mandate given to the Church with something else. They've taken away the gold (God's Word) from the temple so to speak, and have replaced it with brass (religious rituals, human tradition and worldly entertainments). And they call it the New Normal! 

This is a horrible diversion, and a terrible digression. The end result of all these is a weak, disorientated and despondent Church whose faith cannot stand the test of time!

"... But the people who know their God will display strength and take action" (Dan. 11:32b NASB).

Knowing God personally, and relating with Him intimately is the very essence of Christianity. You can't know God apart from His Word; His Word is the direct revelation of His person. The Bible is God speaking to you today. God's Word is the basis for the believer's confidence!

A Christian whose life is securely built on the foundation of God's Word is prepared for the long haul. They have the capacity, spiritual stamina and faith to withstand the test of time. And because they know their God, they will display strength and take action! (Dan. 11:32b NASB).

Your status in God's kingdom is not determined by how many people you know, and relate with in the religious, political and social circle (now there's nothing wrong about that if it doesn't have a negative impact on your spiritual life).

Your status in God's kingdom is determined by your union with El - Shaddai: The All - sufficient God, The God who is more than enough, The God who satisfies with long life!

When everyone and everything fails you in life, He will uphold and sustain you because you know Him. "... For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear... " (Heb. 13:5,6). 

"Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because HE HATH KNOWN MY NAME" (Ps. 91:14).

When Paul found himself in a similar circumstance, he boldly declared, "... FOR I KNOW WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED, and am persuaded that he is able..." (2Tim. 1:12).

The knowledge of God kept Paul going when times were tough, and he was able to weather the storms because he knew something about God's power and ability!

Now here's the crux of the matter. The average Christian today isn't prepared for the rainy day. And yet he has been deeply immersed in the strict adherence to dead and dry religious routines all his life, to the detriment of developing a vibrant fellowship with God.

Dad Hagin of blessed memory once said, "it is amazing how we become so church-minded instead of Bible-minded; sometimes we act 'churchy' instead of born again! 

KNOWING GOD PERSONALLY, AND RELATING WITH HIM INTIMATELY IS THE VERY ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY.

There is a vast difference between knowing God, and knowing about God. Majority of Church folks knew about God from the series of sermons they've heard in Church, while only few actually had a personal, intimate experimental knowledge of Him.

"The people who know their God" have something in common. They are extraordinarily bold, confident and resolved.

Hebrews chapter 11 is often called the "Hall of Faith" or the "Faith Hall of Fame." In this noted chapter, the writer of the book of Hebrews introduces an impressive list of heroic figures from the Old Testament - remarkable men and women whose stories stand out as typical examples of absolute confidence in God's power and ability.

They were able to perform such amazing feats because "they knew their God." 

Prominent among them were the three Hebrew Brethren. Everyone in Babylon bowed in worship of King Nebuchadnezzar's golden image, but Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego acted differently.

While other people cowered in terror before the King, the three Hebrew brothers "Stood firm," and "Take action" or acted valiantly because they knew something about God's power and ability! (Dan.11:32b NASB).

Calmly and respectfully, they said to the King:

"we want to use this opportunity to introduce our God to you, your Majesty. This God is so powerful than all other gods including your little bitty image. He is a deliverer too in case you don't know, and He will deliver us from your hand! Even if He choose not to deliver us at this time, we will still love, trust and honor Him because He knows what is best for us. But we will not bow down to worship your golden image!  [Dan. 3:16-18 Emphasis Mine].

You know the rest of the story. The King was so furious, they were thrown into the furnace at his command, and he ordered that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual.

But God showed up right in the middle of the furnace! This is where the test of true faith is. So many Church folks would have given up on God even before they were thrown into the furnace! They would have said something like, "It's very obvious that I won't make it this time around. The enemies from my father's house have finally succeeded. My case is hopeless"

And by so saying, they would have sealed their doom! The Bible says, "Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth" (Prov. 6:2).

Although, the deliverance of the three Hebrew brothers didn't come as earlier expected, but it sure did come!

God has perfect timing: never early, never late. He is never in a hurry, but He is always on time.

Now hear this: 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝. 𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚; 𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧!

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙃𝙞𝙢 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙞𝙢.

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨!

"𝘞𝘏𝘌𝘕 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋 𝘚𝘏𝘈𝘓𝘓 𝘉𝘜𝘐𝘓𝘋 𝘜𝘗 𝘡𝘐𝘖𝘕, 𝘏𝘌 𝘚𝘏𝘈𝘓𝘓 𝘈𝘗𝘗𝘌𝘈𝘙 𝘐𝘕 𝘏𝘐𝘚 𝘎𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘠" (Psalms 102:16).
