Faith begins when you know the will of God. There's no such thing as "blind faith". Faith is not blind neither does it suffer any optical defect. Faith sees accurately. It sees through the eyes of the spirit; it sees through the lens of God's Word! A step of faith is a step taken in line with God's Word, or a specific divine instruction given to an individual. You don't just take a step of faith arbitrarily, otherwise you'll end up in a "No man's land!" Abraham took a step of faith; he stepped out on God's specific instruction to him. Peter also stepped out of the boat to meet Jesus. He didn't just walk on water, he walked on the word "come" (Matt. 14:28,29). Christianity could rightly be defined as "the outward expression of the life of Christ, the Risen Lord who lives within the believer".  Christianity means "Christlikeness". Christ is a person, and not a religion. What makes you a Christian is not baptism, confirmation, or any other form of religious rites. What makes you a Christian is "... CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory; IN HIM WAS LIFE; and the life was the light of men" (Colossians 1:27; Jn. 1:4). There is no life in religion; it's mainly about strict adherence to some dead rituals, and fleshly exhibitions. While the Christian is motivated by love in their service to God, religious practitioners struggles to please God out duty. They try very hard to impress other people with false piety, by putting on a show in the flesh. Religion is not of the spirit; it's of the flesh. "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God" (Rom. 8:8). Christianity is of the heart (the spirit). ...

"Ye are of God little Children, AND HAVE OVERCOME THEM: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). God has already done everything He is ever going to do about the devil on behalf of the believer. The Bible says, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of of them openly, triumphing over them in it" (Col. 2:15). The devil was thoroughly whipped by our Lord through His death and resurrection, and his power and dominion over the believer was irreparably broken! We are not called to fight against the devil, but we are called to enforce his defeat. That's what the good fight of faith is all about - enforcing Satan's defeat; he is a defeated foe! If you know something about the word "type" or "typology" in connection with the Bible, you will understand that "Zion" in the Old Testament is a representation of the New Testament Church.
