Hebrews 13:5,6 5. ...For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6. So that WE MAY BOLDLY SAY (Confess),The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.  To "Confess" means to "Say the same thing" as regards to what God has already said about you. It means to agree with God in your testimony. It's a bold assertion, affirmation or declaration of who you are in Christ according to God's Word. E. W.
